Guanajuato, Gto. The Tourism Promotion Council of the state capital will invest 300 thousand pesos to pay for the recording of a Netflix series with actor Aarón Díaz, in which the tourist destinations of Mexico will be promoted.
The councilor of the PAN, Armando López Ramírez, and member of the Council, reported that it is expected that at least six chapters of this new project will be recorded in the city of humanity’s cultural heritage.
“The Board of the Council authorized an investment to go in a cooperative with the State Government, for an illustrative Netflix series, a series that passes through various parts of the country in a kind of documentary talking about the cultural, tourism and cultural issues. alternatives for tourism ”.
López Ramírez commented that the impact that Guanajuato will have with this series will be very important and will be reflected in the pockets of Guanajuato businessmen.
“The impact is going to be important, Netflix from the outset right now with the pandemic, everyone watches Netflix and the promotion is national and international, the return on investment of the 300 thousand pesos is by far very high.”
He specified that the 300 thousand pesos that will be invested in this project will come from the Tourism Promotion Fund, which this year is 6 million 50 thousand pesos, of which about 60 percent have been exercised at the moment.
