The archaeological zones and museums of Guanajuato will be open at Easter, but they will have different hours, this is what you should know

ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREAS

The archaeological zones will maintain their usual hours from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however, public access ends at 3:00 p.m. in Cañada de la Virgen ( San Miguel de Allende ), Arroyo Seco ( Victoria ) and El Cóporo ( Ocampo ), and at 4:00 p.m. in Plazuelas ( Pénjamo ) and Peralta ( Abasolo ).

The cost of entry to these areas is 39 pesos per person, from 12 years of age. Children from 5 to 12 years of age pay 12 pesos.

MUSEUMS

On the other hand, if you plan to visit the enclosures that are members of the IEC Museum and Galleries Network, you should know that they will close on Holy Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and on Good Friday all day, to resume their usual hours from Gloria’s Saturday, which are from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

But if you go to the Olga Costa – José Chávez Morado Museum, in Guanajuato, consider that its hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is a similar schedule, only that it closes half an hour before, to the one that will have the Mariana Gallery of the Collegiate Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato, recently integrated into the Network of Museums and Galleries of the IEC.
