León, Guanajuato.- The Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) held its opening gala at the Roberto Plasencia Saldaña Bicentennial Theater, where designers, actors and creators were part of the 27th edition of the event.
The first to parade were the Guanajuato designers, as part of the BJX, which this year carries the Project Glamour baton.
Designers Ernesto Guevara, Antonio Díaz de León, Noé Roa, Leonardo Mena, Fátima Quiroga attended; actress Ángeles Cruz, who presented the film “Soy lo que nunca fui” by Rodrigo Álvarez; The leading actress Luisa Huertas, who only came to León for the tribute to Arturo Ripstein, as well as the actors Moisés Arizmendi, Arturo Beristáin, Ramón Medina, Arcelia Ramírez, Sylvia Pasquel and members of the short film “Trinidad”, were also on the carpet at the opening of the GIFF.
To close the catwalk, the attendees entered the theater where the Chinese film “Black Dog” was projected.
