“Last year was the first time it was held outside of Italy, several cities fought for it, including Mexico, Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey, but in the end they opted for San Miguel de Allende and they liked the way they were supported and so here is the race again, for the second consecutive year,” shared José Cruz González, director of the Municipal Sports Commission.
The head of the Comude also announced that in this edition the organizers have made the decision to establish San Miguel de Allende as the permanent venue for the event, so “La Classicissima” will continue to be held in the municipality every year.
