For the first time, the National Tourism Summit will be held outside of Mexico City. From September 3-5, 2025, under the theme “The New Tourism: Culture and Prosperity,” the event organized by Cumbres HUB will bring together more than 120 industry leaders, including federal authorities, ambassadors, business leaders, academics, and investors.

According to the Municipal Government, the choice of San Miguel de Allende as host is no coincidence, as it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been named the “best city in the world” on several occasions by international publications. The city combines a solid tourism infrastructure, cultural wealth, and community identity.

Over three days, key topics regarding the future of tourism in Mexico and around the world will be explored, including new trends, investment strategies, and development models that integrate economic prosperity with cultural and community values.

One of the most relevant spaces will be Discussion 1: Cultural Tourism, the Hallmark of Mexico, led by Guadalupe Robles, Secretary of Tourism and Identity of Guanajuato. This panel will address cultural tourism as a key to strengthening the national tourism offering and attracting new visitors, the importance of cultural and historical heritage, as well as art and crafts, and experiences that integrate history, tradition, gastronomy, and wine tourism, one of Guanajuato’s most representative strengths.
