Following reported technical anomalies and irregularities during the initial online admission process, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has officially announced a mandatory presential control exam for a select group of undergraduate applicants. Scheduled to take place between August 12 and August 19, 2026, this decisive evaluation aims to validate test results and safeguard the integrity and credibility of the university’s selection process for the 2026-2027/1 academic cycle.
To ensure regional coverage and minimize travel burdens for candidates residing outside the metropolitan area, UNAM has established testing sites across four key cities under the following schedule:
Leon, Guanajuato: August 12 and 13
Oaxaca, Oaxaca: August 13
