Libertarian Flame Reaches San Miguel de Allende After Traveling 65 Kilometers from Querétaro
The tenth edition of the Ruta de la Independencia Athletic Race brought together 65 students from 13 universities in the states of Querétaro and Guanajuato, who participated in a symbolic journey connected with Mexico’s Independence celebrations.
As part of the event, the Libertarian Flame traveled approximately 65 kilometers from Querétaro to San Miguel de Allende, continuing a tradition that seeks to commemorate the historical events associated with Mexico’s struggle for independence.
The arrival of the flame in San Miguel de Allende represented one of the main moments of the commemorative activities. The participating university students completed the route as part of the athletic and civic event, linking Querétaro with one of Guanajuato’s most historically significant cities.
