SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, GUANAJUATO.- Officially, Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal recognized the work of the medical personnel who care for patients infected with Covid 19. He did so in a city council session and assured that in San Miguel de Allende his guard will not be lowered.
“Our appreciation, and I know that I speak on behalf of each and everyone, to the medical personnel who are making a superhuman effort to help alleviate the pain in the face of this Covid-19 pandemic,” said the municipal president, Luis Alberto Villarreal García.
He asked the plenary session of the City Council to observe a minute of silence in memory of the director and announcer of Radio San Miguel, Francisco Javier Zavala Ortiz for his sensitive death.
Likewise, he said in solidarity with those who, unfortunately, have suffered the loss of a relative due to this disease, “our condolences also to all San Miguel families who have lost a loved one,” he added.
Mayor Villarreal also announced that there are 6 laboratories officially authorized to conduct Covid-19 tests:
The laboratories are:
SEDFAR (Specialized Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical Services), located at Avenida Primero de Mayo # 10 Fracc. Ignacio Ramírez.
Bios-Lab, located on Hidalgo street, downtown area.
CHOPO medical laboratory, located in Plaza La Luciérnaga local 67.
BIOTECLAB, located in the facilities of the sub. Delegation of the Mexican Red Cross in Bulevar de la Conspiración at the corner of Avenida Las Américas and Libramiento José Manuel Zavala.
CEII, located off Celaya # 3 Plaza 4 Quince; GC Medical Group, located within the San Miguel de Allende Business Park.
These laboratories are certified and recognized by the Institute for Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (InDRE) and the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS), to carry out the diagnosis of Covid-19, for epidemiological surveillance purposes.
The Civil Protection Directorate made a call to those laboratories that still do not have the certification to contact the telephones 415 152 06 50 and 415 152 89 64, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, or, at the Civil Protection offices located in the administrative building (Paseo de los Conspiradores # 130).
