Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Mazatlán is a city with a wide variety of parks and gardens, as well as public recreation spaces, however, a large part of them are in poor condition and with notable neglect, except for the Park Linear.
Since its construction in 2015, the Linear Park of Mazatlán has covered an area of 5.7 kilometers, and in each of its sections, it is seen in good condition and low maintenance after a bad image was projected in its first months of construction because work was delayed.
This public recreation site had an investment of 26 million 86 thousand pesos from municipal resources and the SEDATU Public Spaces Rescue program, under the tutelage of former mayor Carlos Faltón, in addition to the construction of six segments that divide this huge park : Parque de la Familia, Parque de la Niñez, Parque Patasalada, Parque de la Juventud, Parque del Arte y la Cultura and Parque de la Tranquibilidad.
