It will take place from May 25 to 28 with the participation of more than 27 renowned chefs; about 2,500 attendees are expected
With the idea of surpassing the success of the first edition, the II Millesime GNP Weekend San Miguel de Allende was announced, which will take place from May 25 to 28 with the participation of more than 20 renowned chefs, including Lucia Freitas, Carlos Gaytán, Rodrigo de la Calle and Diego Oka, who will lead the famous Cenas de Altura.
The main venue for this celebration will be the Rosewood Hotel, where attendees can be immersed in a Garden experience. Chefs, mixologists, wineries and producers of local inputs will be the ingredients of a unique experience.
During the presentation of the event, Manuel Quintanero, director of Millesime Mexico, recalled that this celebration has a less corporate and more social format, “it is open to the public, it will have the quality and attention to detail that characterizes our events. Millesime GNP Weekend will become the most renowned gastronomic catwalk with local, national and international chefs, who will share the stove in various settings with the attendees”.
Quintero added that the Cenas de Altura will also take place in this second edition: “they will take place at the Hotel Casablanca 7 with the participation of chefs Diego Oka, from the restaurant La Mar by Gastón Acurio, from Miami, and Rodrigo de la Calle , from the restaurant El Invernadero, in Madrid; and the Casa 1810 Parque hotel, with chefs Lucía Freitas, from the A Tafona restaurant, in Santiago de Compostela, and Carlos Gaytán, from the Tzuco restaurant, in Chicago”.
The dinners will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a sunset cocktail on the Rooftop with the best sunsets in the city. This cocktail will be offered by the host chef and the premium cocktails from the Jose Cuervo portfolio. Later at 9:00 p.m. diners will go to the restaurant where they will enjoy a six-course tasting menu with an incredible pairing.
Around 2,500 visitors from surrounding cities such as the country’s capital, CDMX, Querétaro, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Monterrey and San Luis Potosí are expected to attend Millesime GNP Weekend, who will be able to live unique experiences, such as sensory tastings, dinners with international chefs of the highest renown, premium mixology, show cooking with the best chefs in Mexico and the world, in a fabulous staging.
Finally, Manuel Quintanero recalled that Millesime’s mission is to “promote knowledge and dissemination of the most renowned professionals and first-rate gastronomic products. Also create a world of details, for the interesting group that visits us. San Miguel de Allende has magic and so do we, I’m sure it will be an unforgettable weekend”.
