Tulum, San Miguel de Allende, Bajío, Guadalajara and Monterrey are among its upcoming openings
Hilton is a globally recognized hotel chain. In Mexico, it is planning the opening of some 25 more hotels, which will reach a presence of more than 100 properties in the medium term. This was announced by journalist Miriam Paredes from the Excelsior media outlet through an interview she conducted with Mario Carbone, Hilton’s General Director of Development in Mexico.
The hotel chain currently serves its guests in 90 luxury hotels and resorts in Mexico and that through a growth strategy would be close to 100 hotels.
“With a continued focus on rapid expansion throughout Mexico, Hilton is on track to open its 100th hotel in the country, thanks to its robust portfolio of approximately 25 planned hotels in some of Mexico’s most sought-after destinations, from the city of Tulum in the Riviera Maya and San Miguel de Allende in the Bajío region, to the metropolises of Guadalajara and Monterrey”, said Mario Carbone, General Director of Development in Mexico.
Last year, Hilton grew in the All-Inclusive segment with the opening of Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya, as well as in the expansion of the luxury portfolio with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Cancún.
