In two days, a man and a teenager were killed in San Miguel de Allende

In the last two days, the city has witnessed two shootings that resulted in the death of a man and a teenager, as well as an injured young woman.

The most recent incident occurred on Monday, June 24 around 8 p.m. at the Andador Capitel, located in the Infonavit Malanquín neighborhood.

Neighbors reported to 911 that a subject on a motorcycle shot two teenagers.

Elements of the Red Cross arrived at the scene and certified the death of a minor woman, identified by the prosecutor’s office under the initials C.V.S.

While the other injured woman was stabilized and taken to a hospital for medical attention.

The municipal authorities implemented a search operation and found a motorcycle with characteristics similar to the one used in the attack in the parking lot of the Plaza Alhóndiga.

The Prosecutor’s Office and the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) took charge of the ballistic evidence and the body of the deceased young woman.

Homicide investigated in La Providencia

The other attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday, June 23, in the Providencia neighborhood, near the border with San Felipe Neri.

Around 5:00 a.m., emergency services went to Fray Pedro de Gante Street and found the lifeless body of the man who was identified as Martín Alfredo.

The Specialized Homicide Investigation Unit is conducting investigations into the alleged perpetrator and the mechanics of the events in order to clarify the events.
