According to Trejo Pureco, psychological support will be offered at the Institute for Support to Men in San Miguel de Allende, as well as financial help to men who want to undertake “productive projects”… just as it is already done with women.

According to what Trejo Pureco explained, the main attention will be given to men who are victims of the violence and insecurity that exists in the country. Above all, those who have seen their businesses go bankrupt due to the extortion of organized crime.
“Behind every business that is extorted there is, in more than 90% of the cases, a businessman,” assured the mayor of San Miguel de Allende.
Trejo Pureco reproached that, in the topic of searching for missing persons, only the Searching Mothers are mentioned, “how good, he celebrated it,” he said… but he believes that it is time to think about the men who are involved in searches.
For this reason, the Institute for Support for Men will assist the fathers whose daughters or loved ones have been victims of disappearance. “It is also necessary that we assist the fathers.”
