The Attorney General’s Office of Guanajuato has issued search cards under the Amber Alert and the Alba Protocol due to the disappearance of an American woman and her six children, which occurred on January 31 in the municipality of Pénjamo, Guanajuato.
Ashley Rose Torres, 29, and her children: Louisa Torres Carman (1 year old); Lilians Lynn and David (2 years old); Juan Emilio (3 years old); Rosalina Sue (5 years old), and Antonio Edwardo (7 years old), were reported missing, so the Attorney General’s Office began the corresponding investigation.
As particular signs, there is only information on David and Lilians, who have a scar on their right shoulder, but no other marks or distinctive features have been identified in the rest of the children.
Ashley Rose Torres has straight, blonde hair and oval-shaped blue eyes. She is 1.65 meters tall and weighs around 70 kilograms. On the day of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink shirt, black leggings, and purple tennis shoes.
State authorities have made available to citizens the emergency numbers 800-368-62-42 and 911 to receive any information that may help locate the woman and her children.

Activation criteria
Once the report of the lack of location of a girl, boy or adolescent is received, the Amber Alert link assesses the suitability for the activation of an alert according to the following criteria:
That the girl, boy or adolescent is under 18 years of age.
That he or she is at imminent risk of suffering serious harm to his or her personal integrity.
That there is sufficient information: name, age, sex, physical characteristics, distinctive signs, illnesses, disabilities, clothing worn at the time of the absence, as well as the description of the circumstances of the events, the people and vehicles involved, the last time he or she was seen and any other information considered relevant.
