San Miguel de Allende, renowned for its cultural and wine tourism heritage, is preparing to host the 2025 Vendimia Brava (Brave Harvest), an event that will combine equestrian tradition, the passion of flamenco, and the region’s winemaking excellence, expecting an economic impact of more than 8 million pesos.
All events will be free at their various venues.
At a press conference held at Viñedos San Lucas, Carlos Gallardo, host and representative of the vineyard, expressed his enthusiasm for this celebration, which promises an unforgettable experience. “I want to thank Diego, Tania, and especially María Aliaga and Amaya, who have contributed their talents to bring flamenco and Sevillian inspiration to our event. Additionally, María, as a renowned fashion designer, will present her show ‘Flamenco a la Mexicana,’ a show that blends flamenco art with Mexican boleros,” Gallardo commented.
Tania Castillo, Director of Tourism for San Miguel de Allende, highlighted the importance of the Vendimia Brava (Brave Harvest) for the city’s tourism projection. “Last year, we saw the need to give this event its own date, allowing it to gain greater importance. These types of initiatives strengthen the union between the private sector and the municipal government, in addition to generating significant economic benefits and employment,” Castillo explained.
According to the organizers, more than a thousand people are expected to attend the event, with an economic impact of approximately 8 million pesos and the creation of more than 200 temporary jobs.
