After nearly a year on the run, two men were finally arrested in Irapuato, Guanajuato, for their alleged involvement in the murder of Carlos B. M., which occurred on October 26, 2024, in Ciudad Juárez.
The defendants, identified as Jesús A. Abraham C. V. and Jesús Valente C. E., beat and stabbed the victim inside his home on Cobre Street, causing his death from serious injuries.
Following their arrest, both were charged and remanded in custody as a precautionary measure. A three-month period was also established for the completion of the complementary investigation.
Authorities stated that this arrest represents progress in justice for the victim’s family and reaffirms their commitment to ensuring that violent crimes in the region are not left unpunished.
