Pulquería La Otomí will celebrate National Pulque Day in San Miguel de Allende with curados, natural pulque, a cultural tianguis and low-cost food

San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- Pulquería La Otomí has become a point of reference to taste pulque in San Miguel de Allende. With cured wines of different flavors and natural pulque, it will celebrate the National Day of this ancestral drink.

The celebration will take place this Sunday, starting at noon, and will include a craft market, food, live music and a fandango jarocho.

On February 5, Mexico celebrates the National Day of Pulque, an ancestral drink that remains in force and whose consumption has increased in bars and some restaurants.

La Otomí, for almost five years, has been offering the people of San Miguel the traditional drink in its natural version, as well as cured wines of different flavors that have captured the taste of its customers. Among them are apple, guava, coconut, cocoa, pineapple and strawberry, available in quart, half liter and liter presentations.

Pulquería La Otomí, located in the neighborhood of San Rafael, also offers food and functions as a space for the presentation of local and foreign musical artists.

To celebrate National Pulque Day, a cultural tianguis will be installed in La Otomi, in addition to low-cost food, a jarocho fandango and the presentation of the Leonese group “Combine The Band”. Doors will open from 12:00 p.m
