Pastorela a la Mexicana is a fun staging in which the mischievous devil, with his multiple occurrences, will try at all costs to prevent the arrival of the friendly shepherds to Bethlehem.

It will not be easy for him because the noble and brave angel Gabriel will prevent his audacity by challenging him to various duels in a very Mexican style.

It is not the typical traditional pastorela, it is a comic version with the charismatic Mexican sense of humor.

It is authored and directed by Benjamín Martínez Ramos and the Teatro Pallevar company features the performance in this staging by Josué Martínez and the arts of the dancer Eduardo Álvarez.

Jonathan Leal is in charge of the musical editing and Marco Antonio Sánchez Reyes is in charge of the lighting. Lorena Esquina Becerril and Claudia Herrera are part of the team that will put on the show.

This proposal arose in gratitude to the teacher and renowned dancer Olinka Trueba.

The performances in Mexico City will be this December 6 and 10 at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. in Manatí No. 8, San Pedro Zacatenco neighborhood, Gustavo A. Madero. Then the tour begins in Veracruz, where they will perform in the cultural backyard, the theater house and Cardúmen on December 20 and 21.

And they close the year in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato on December 27 and 28.
