The Juárez Theater in Guanajuato was the setting for the presentation of the 53rd edition of the International Cervantino Festival (FIC) in the state of Guanajuato.
This event was preceded by the presentation in Mexico City that same day.
Details were provided of a program focused on collaboration between nations and artists, the development of local talent, the promotion of new projects, and more spaces designed for young audiences.
The International Cervantino Festival will reach its 53rd edition this year. With Veracruz and the United Kingdom as the guest states and countries, the FIC and the capital are preparing to welcome artists from around the world from October 10 to 26.
The 53rd edition of the Festival of the Spirit will offer 140 performances, with 3,458 artists from 31 countries and locations across the country.
The Municipal Government is preparing for a year that will surpass 2024, in which a total attendance of 180,000 visitors was recorded, 56,000 of them tourists, and there was a hotel occupancy rate of 41 percent and an economic impact of 250 million pesos.
This year, 227,000 visitors are expected, which is why They prepare aspects such as order, safety, and cleanliness, which guarantee unique experiences for visitors and residents of the capital.
