Municipal Police officers arrested a 21-year-old man in the El Encino neighborhood for alleged possession of multiple doses of marijuana.
The arrest occurred while officers were conducting surveillance on República Mexicana Street and observed the individual inhaling toxic substances in public.
In accordance with operating protocols, officers proceeded to conduct a preventive inspection, finding among his belongings three bags of dried, green marijuana with the characteristics of marijuana.
The detainee was transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which will determine his legal status.
