On Friday night, around 8:00 p.m., an accident occurred in the Las Terrazas neighborhood, in the southern part of Guanajuato, behind the State Police facilities, when a truck carrying sacks lost control on the road.
Initial reports indicated that people could be trapped inside the vehicle, a situation that immediately mobilized emergency services.
Civil Protection and Firefighters from SIMUB arrived on the scene to respond to the incident and check on the condition of those involved.
After a detailed inspection, it was confirmed that there were no injuries and that the vehicle was empty at the time of the incident.
The accident occurred due to the loss of control of the truck, loaded with sacks, which caused it to stop at a dangerous point, causing concern among neighbors and passersby.
The swift intervention of emergency services made it possible to rule out any risk and ensure safety in the area.
In a second incident, a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck was reported at the intersection leading to Villas de Guanajuato.
Unfortunately, this accident was attributed to the lack of road signage in the area, raising concerns among drivers and residents about road safety in critical areas of the city.
The coordination of Civil Protection and Firefighters from SIMUB was key to responding to both incidents and maintaining the peace of mind of residents.
