Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo reported that the federal highways in Guanajuato, which had been blocked for 38 hours, were released by agricultural producers after reaching an agreement with the federal government.
This agreement includes the proposed base prices of 7,200 pesos per ton for corn and 6,000 pesos for sorghum, as the central point of the dialogue.
On her social media, she explained that a meeting will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Ministry of the Interior in Mexico City, to review the marketing prices for corn and sorghum.
The agreement included the immediate lifting of all blockades on Federal Highway 90.
