Attorney General’s Office Charges “El Kabe” With Homicide and Attempted Murder of Police Officers in San Miguel de Allende
The State Attorney General’s Office obtained a formal criminal indictment against Cristian Salvador “N,” alias “El Kabe,” on charges of aggravated homicide and attempted aggravated homicide against public servants after he allegedly attacked municipal police officers following a fatal shooting in San Miguel de Allende.
Investigation Into the Homicide
According to the investigation conducted by Regional Prosecutor’s Office “D,” the events occurred on July 15, 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., when the homicide victim was at the intersection of 6 de Enero Street and Bolívar Street in the community of Agustín González.

At that moment, “El Kabe” allegedly arrived at the scene on a motorcycle while carrying a firearm, which he repeatedly discharged directly at the victim, inflicting severe injuries that caused the victim’s death at the scene.
Pursuit on the Celaya–San Miguel de Allende Highway
While fleeing along the Celaya–San Miguel de Allende Highway, near the facilities of a university, officers from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat joined the pursuit and attempted to stop the suspect.
According to the investigation, the suspect allegedly opened fire on the officers, who returned fire. During the exchange, the suspect fell from the motorcycle and was subsequently arrested by officers from another patrol unit.
Criminal Proceedings
After collecting evidence and establishing the suspect’s probable involvement, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested and obtained an arrest warrant from a Control Judge.
After reviewing the evidence presented by the prosecution, the judge ordered that Cristian Salvador “N.” be formally charged and placed under preventive detention for the duration of the criminal proceedings. The court also established the deadline for the completion of the supplementary investigation.
