San Miguel de Allende invites to the 68th Candelaria Fair

In San Miguel de Allende the 68th edition of the Candelaria fair is lived this 2024 that goes from February 1 to 14 in the Benito Juárez park in a schedule of 9 in the morning to 9 at night, where there is a great variety of flowers, plants, trees and accessories for the home

With an inaugural act enlivened by jazz music, the municipal government inaugurated the 68th edition of the Candelaria Fair.

Following the line of President Mauricio Trejo to exalt the San Miguel traditions, the direction of Environment and Sustainability prepared a night full of colors, smells and joy from the Benito Juárez park, a place that for the third consecutive year is the venue for this festivity.

Marking the beginning of the 68th edition, hundreds of people gathered in this emblematic place, to enjoy a wonderful start of the fair, in which the Jazzatlan Big Band was in charge of making the attendees dance. Once the live music was over, and as every year, the Traditional Blessing of the Holy Cross of the Park was carried out, closing a magical night.

During this festivity, which runs from February 1 to 14, the population is finding a great exhibition of flowers, plants, trees and accessories to decorate the home, in addition to a space dedicated to local gastronomy, in a schedule of 9 in the morning to 9 at night.

Likewise, there will be daily activities, from regional Mexican music, bird watching walks, yoga and meditation classes, recreational activities, theater, ballet and dance shows for the whole family.

In addition, for greater comfort and ease of access, the Municipal Government enabled the Cardo parking lot, for the general public; thus, they can leave their vehicle completely free of charge from 9 in the morning to 9 at night and enjoy this, the most important environmental fair in the State.
