San Miguel de Allende is preparing a Biocultural Fair with the aim of promoting the proliferation of semi-desert plants
Native plants provide a unique aesthetic and cultural value, reflecting the history and identity of a region. This event seeks to promote their cultivation since, being native to the area, they allow for better water absorption, while requiring less care and resources for their maintenance.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. Workshops will be given on how to make a biol, on the propagation of succulents and on the transplantation of herbaceous plants.
In addition, during the weekend, attendees will be able to enjoy dishes and desserts made with typical ingredients from the region.
