A tragic event took place in the city of Pénjamo, in the state of Guanajuato, where violence unfortunately continues, and with innocent minors as victims. Such is the case reported last Sunday, July 14th, when a girl who was barely 10 years old died in a shooting.
The authority announced on July 14 that the girl was murdered during a children’s party that took place in Pénjamo, where there were dozens of people enjoying the celebration.
According to witnesses, a group of armed men arrived and broke into a home where the party was taking place; The balance was four people murdered, including the girl, barely 10 years old, her brother and two other young people.
It stands out that this multiple homicide was recorded a short distance from the facilities of the Security Secretariat, in Pénjamo`s Los Fresnos neighborhood.
According to the expert report, the murderers shot at least a dozen times at those attending the party.
After the emergency call, agents from the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office and other corporations arrived at the property where the attack occurred to begin investigations.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with this heinous crime.
