The Municipal Government of San Miguel de Allende is launching a program of free summer courses for children aged 5 to 12, featuring sports, recreational, and cultural activities running from July 20 to August 14.
This initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Mauricio Trejo’s administration, aims to enhance child well-being, support families during the school break, and encourage the use of the municipality’s social and sports facilities.
The activities will be coordinated by the Community Development Center (CEDECOM), the Directorate of Social Welfare and Development, the Sports Sub-directorate, and the Municipal Sports Commission (COMUDE).
At CEDECOM, children can participate in workshops on cooking, music, the arts, and physical activity, while the Bosque Deportivo (Sports Forest) will host sessions in disciplines such as soccer, basketball, taekwondo, handball, track and field, tennis, and padel.
