A COMMITTEE LEADED BY THE MUNICIPAL PRESIDENT OF SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MAURICIO TREJO, WILL TRAVEL TO NEW YORK TO RECEIVE THE “BEST SMALL CITY OF THE WORLD” RECOGNITION AND ALSO PROMOTE THE TOURIST FEATURES OF SAN MIGUEL
Present in New York, the Government of San Miguel will present the tourist benefits of San Miguel that have positioned it as one of the Best Small Cities in the world.
Present in this magnificent city in the United States and which is one of the best venues to promote the world’s tourism offer, San Miguel will have a prominent presence on November 8 and 9 at the 2023 Condé Nast Traveler convention.
For this international event held by said luxury publisher, Mayor Mauricio Trejo will lead the San Miguel delegation that will visit New York lands, where this World Heritage city has to offer will be presented to the world and live unparalleled experiences, ranging from: lodging, gastronomy and cultural activities.
During this world-class exhibition, Mauricio Trejo will receive recognition for San Miguel de Allende as winner of the “Best Small City of the World” award, thus marking the privileged position of this city on the tourist map of Mexico and the satisfaction it brings to those who choose it as a destination to visit and even to live.
Giving a San Miguel touch to the union of the business community with the efforts of the Municipal Government, the hotels: Rosewood, San José Lavista, Casa Hoyos, Grupo México Real and Campera, will put on display part of the hotel offering that the Heritage City has. The humanity; while Casa Dragones and Panio tequila will delight those present with the local seasoning. Finally, the Wedding Planners: Lucero Álvarez, Gardenia Meza from the venue, Luna Escondida and Beatriz Succar, will be in charge of presenting how magnificent the city of San Miguel de Allende is to organize a wedding with an international profile and a touch of the San Miguel essence that make these important social events unique.
Among the activities scheduled for the opening day, Wednesday, November 8, the experience “A day in San Miguel” stands out, which will take place at the Condé Nast Traveler offices, where a mix of traditions, culture and lifestyles will be hosted that everyone can experience in the Best Heritage City in Mexico.
For the second day, Thursday the 9th, a presentation of the destination will be held at the Mexican consulate in New York, in which both Consul General Jorge Islas López and San Miguel president Mauricio Trejo will welcome and position San Miguel as an unparalleled city, with great beauty and recognized for its vast cultural heritage.
Finally, the “Wine and Canvas” activity will be in charge of closing this event, in which they will draw this city on a postcard, describing its beauty and uniqueness, while they will enjoy a careful selection of the best wines from San Miguel.
In its 36th annual awards ceremony, Condé Nast Traveler distinguished San Miguel de Allende in the “Top 3” of the 10 best small cities in the world, under the parameters of the Readers’ Choice Awards.
