With an investment of 500 million pesos, the cornerstone of the PANAN III Cluster was laid in Silao, Guanajuato, a project that will create more than 1,000 direct jobs.
On behalf of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villaseñor Aguilar, the Undersecretary of Investment Attraction, Alejandro Hernández Fonseca, emphasized that this industrial park, the third that the ESFO Development Group is building in Guanajuato, consolidates the state’s position as the fifth largest economy in the country.
“The cluster will strengthen the industrial real estate offering in Silao and Guanajuato. An investment like this has a multiplier effect, as it will trigger logistics, cleaning, transportation, and food service companies; in addition, these parks complement the other large existing developments,” said Hernández Fonseca.
According to the Ministry of Economy, this development strengthens the certainty and competitiveness that Guanajuato offers investors, positioning the state as a strategic point to capitalize on nearshoring opportunities.
The new cluster will occupy 17 hectares and will join the 47 industrial parks already operating in 17 municipalities across the state, covering a total area of more than 7,100 hectares, of which 3,650 are available for new projects.
Productive infrastructure is a key advantage of Guanajuato. To date, 34 projects have been consolidated for more than $2.95 billion, with the expectation of generating more than 8,400 jobs during the current state administration.
The state government, led by Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, through the Ministry of Economy, reaffirms that Guanajuato continues to consolidate itself as an attractive and reliable destination for new investments, maintaining its commitment to sustainable economic growth and the creation of opportunities for the local population.
